Cooper River Yacht Club, Collingswood, NJ is looking for sailing instructors/community sailing staff/steward
This is the perfect summer job that will earn you more than working for a 10 week summer program and you can start as soon as you are finished college in the spring or you can wait until elementary schools get out in June. Hours are flexible and we have several job openings. Our first two programs begin in May with classes for the Philadelphia Maritime High Schoolin the daytime 3 days a week and Adult Learn to Sail 3 evenings a week in Precision 15's. If you desire more hours we have Community Sailing and part-time steward work. Adult classes have sessions every month. The Youth Program begins late June with 3 levels of training. Classes are taught in Oppi's, Optimists, Laser Radials, Lasers, and 420's. Our training boats are all 2 years old or less. U.S.
Sailing Level 1 and a powerboat license are required. Cooper River Yacht Club is located 5 minutes from Philadelpia, home of the World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies (a great ball park to visit), numerous sporting venues, various music venues, theatre districts, shopping malls, restaurants, and sailing clubs. There are opportunities for you to get some sailing time. You will not lack for things to do.
